Hayward, CA (February 2, 2009) — Kensington Laboratories has expanded its Robot Repair & Refurbishment Center and increased capacity to better serve its large installed base of precision automation equipment. Kensington moved to its new corporate location in Hayward, California in December 2008, after being at their Richmond, California location for more than 20 years. Kensington is a technology leader in precision linear motion stages, wafer handling robots, and the full range of wafer automation equipment for semiconductor capital equipment markets worldwide. The company has a large install base of its diverse high performance wafer automation products at semiconductor companies worldwide.
Customers who use products manufactured by Kensington including wafer handling robots, load-ports, precision linear stages, pre-aligners, controllers etc. will benefit from this expansion.
